### Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead our operational excellence and business expansion. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary C-level executive to bridge cutting-edge quantum technology with real-world business applications. While quantum expertise is not required, the successful candidate will undergo comprehensive quantum AI education as part of their leadership journey.

### Key Responsibilities

#### Daily Operations Leadership (40%)
- Oversee all aspects of daily business operations ensuring seamless execution
- Establish and monitor KPIs across all departments
- Lead morning briefings with department heads to align priorities
- Make critical operational decisions and resource allocations
- Design scalable processes for a rapidly growing quantum tech company

#### Strategic Implementation & Business Development (30%)
- Transform CEO's quantum AI vision into executable operational strategies
- Leverage industry networks to identify quantum AI applications in pharma, finance, and other sectors
- Build strategic partnerships and alliances
- Support sales teams in complex enterprise deals
- Serve as executive sponsor for key client relationships

#### Financial & Performance Management (20%)
- Partner with CFO on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Monitor cash flow and approve operational expenditures
- Drive cost optimization without compromising innovation
- Oversee performance metrics and operational efficiency
- Manage investor relations and board reporting on operations

#### Team & Culture Development (10%)
- Build world-class operations, business development, and support teams
- Foster collaboration between quantum scientists and business professionals
- Champion QDaria's culture of innovation and excellence
- Implement talent development and retention programs
- Act as mentor and coach to emerging leaders

### Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of C-level or senior executive experience
- Proven track record of scaling operations in technology or life sciences
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience
- Excellence in stakeholder management and board-level communication
- Experience leading through periods of rapid growth and change
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)

### Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in deep tech, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries
- International business development experience
- Track record of successful fundraising or investor relations
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in enterprise settings
- German language skills (advantageous for Swiss market)

### What We Offer
- Competitive base salary: CHF 280,000 - 350,000
- Performance bonus: 30-40% of base salary
