## Sources

The notebooks are adapted from *Quantum Machine Learning*, the University of Toronto course on edX by
Peter Wittek, Arthur Pesah, Patrick Huembeli and contributors, whose lecture notebooks are on
[GitHub](https://github.com/qosf/qml-mooc). Peter Wittek introduced me to the field; the [About](../../about/about.md)
page says more about him. The course's text and figures are licensed under
[CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) and its code under the MIT License. Its figures
are reproduced here unchanged; the text and code are adapted, with my own notes added.

## Running the notebooks

Each notebook is shown with the results stored when it was last run, not re-run when the site is
built. Several use Qiskit interfaces that later Qiskit releases removed, such as `execute`, `BasicAer`
and Qiskit Aqua, and a few call D-Wave's Ocean tools. To run one yourself, use the launch button at the
top of its page, and expect to update those calls for a current Qiskit.
