Fluid art: paintings made by letting acrylic paint flow, cell and settle.

Art is where I started, and fluid art is where art and fluid mechanics meet: how a pour spreads, where cells form and how colours separate all depend on density, viscosity and surface tension. The paintings on the home page come from that practice: the Bad Bloom series (2021), the Northern Light series (2020) and Rajee’s Torch (2019).

I teach acrylic pouring at tegneskole.no. The course notes are in Norwegian, with an English summary at the top.
